The Desoto County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Kissimmee man Wednesday after two kidnapped 4-year-olds were found in a stolen vehicle.

According to a social media post, DCSO received a report of a stolen vehicle and child abduction.
Officers attempted to pull over the stolen car, but 47-year-old Jerome Ralph Garvin refused to comply and led officers on a chase.
In an attempt to escape, Garvin fled the vehicle, leaving the children inside as it moved.

“His attempt to evade justice failed,” the press release reads. “DCSO deputies and Arcadia Police Department officers worked together to track it down
him and arrest him.”

DCSO was able to safely rescue the children involved.
