A 25-year-old man was fatally wounded in a shooting in the Washington Park neighborhood on Wednesday evening, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 7:15 p.m., the victim was in the 5700 block of South Michigan Avenue when he suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to UChicago Medicine, where he was pronounced dead.
No one had been arrested and detectives were investigating.
