DeKalb County Police are investigating a homicide in which a man was killed after being shot, officials say.

Police tells Channel 2 Action news they responded at 5 p.m. on the 6700 block of Tree Mountain Parkway in reference to a person shot.
When they arrived, they found a man believed to be in his 20s dead from a single gunshot wound.

Police say they believe the victim died as a result of an armed robbery, but no suspect or interested party has been identified at this time.
