CHICAGO (CBS) — A man fought for survival Tuesday night after being shot multiple times in the Washington Park neighborhood.
Police said the 39-year-old man was sitting in a car in the 6000 block of South Prairie Avenue at 5:48 p.m. when he was struck by gunfire.
He was hit in the neck and shoulder and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
No one had been arrested in the shooting on Tuesday evening.
