HARTFORD – Police are investigating after a man appeared at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, officials say.
In a release, Lieutenant Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department said officers were called to Hartford Hospital around 4:30 p.m. Monday based on a report of a gunshot victim arriving for treatment.
Boisvert said the victim was a man in his 40s who suffered a single gunshot wound, adding that his condition is stable. He said the location of the shooting has not yet been determined.
“The Hartford Police Department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and took over the investigation,” he said.
