Marilyn Manson will not be prosecuted in connection with accusations of assault and domestic violence, as public prosecutor of Los Angeles County, Nathan Hochman, announced on Friday.
“We have established that accusations of domestic violence fall outside the limitation period, and we cannot prove accusations of assault without reasonable doubt,” said the office of the public prosecutor in a statement announcing the decision.
The statement also states that prosecutors of the Sexemis deeds department of the Public Prosecution Service and detectives of the LA County Sheriff’s Department have completed a ‘comprehensive’ investigation of four years into the accusations against Manson.
“We acknowledge and cheer the courage and resilience of the women who came forward to make reports and share their experiences, and we thank them for their cooperation and patience with the research,” is the statement.
Manson, whose birth name Brian Warner is, has repeatedly denied accusations of abuse for years at least 16 women That goes back more than a decade.
