Michigan earns No. 2 seed in NIT, will receive Toledo on Tuesday

After missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015 early on Sunday night, all focus turned to the National Invitation Tournament Selection Show. The 32-team field was announced late Sunday night, and the Wolverines were awarded a No. 2 seed.

Juwan Howard leads his team against Toledo on Tuesday, March 14 at the Crisler Center. If Michigan wins, it will receive the winner over Vanderbilt and Yale in the second round on March 18. broadcast on ESPN2.

It’s been a bad season for basketball in Michigan, but a young team is getting a chance to play win-or-go home games, which will definitely help move forward as the team hopes to be back in next season the NCAA tournament.
