MINNEAPOLIS – As a man fights for his life, Minneapolis police investigate a shooting and possible carjacking Thursday evening in the Bancroft neighborhood.
Police say multiple 911 callers reported the sounds of shots and vehicles leaving the 3900 block of 11th Avenue South just before 11:30 p.m.
Officers found a man in his 20s suffering from gunshot wounds that may be life-threatening. Police provided medical assistance before he was taken to hospital.
The man was shot in an alley, police say, and five people left the area in the man’s vehicle and possibly another vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
Minneapolis Police Department investigators have been gathering evidence and trying to determine what led to the shooting.
