DELHI TWP. A 30-year-old Lansing man has been found dead in the Grand River near Burchfield Park, police said Sunday.
Ingham County deputies were sent to the park after 11 p.m. Saturday regarding a “suspicious situation,” police said in an online press release.
Once at the park, police were told by a group of kayakers that a Lansing man was missing from their group.
The Capital Area dive team arrived on scene and searched the area. The man, who was not identified, was in the river south of the park.
The cause of the man’s death was not disclosed by police in a press release.
