NASCAR is moving up the start time for Sunday’s Cup race in New Hampshire

Sunday’s Cup race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been moved up about 30 minutes due to the weather forecast, NASCAR announced.

The green flag is now scheduled to wave at 2:06 PM ET on Sunday.

USA Network will broadcast the race.

New Hampshire NASCAR Cup grid: Chase Elliott starts on pole

Rain canceled qualifying in New Hampshire and the lineup was determined based on qualifying data.

The Weather Underground forecast calls for a high of 86 degrees and a 53% chance of scattered thunderstorms. Rain chances increase at 4:00 PM ET.

Cup qualifying was canceled on Saturday due to rain. Cup teams got less than five minutes of training on Saturday before the rain returned. Chase Elliott will start from the pole for Sunday’s race.
