New openings coming to Oklahoma City in 2025

While city leaders expect population and economic growth in Oklahoma City to continue, the Sooner State’s capital continues to attract new businesses to the area.

Here are some of the top new developments in 2025 that readers are excited about:

New OKC companies coming in 2025

OKANA

The OKANA Resort and Indoor Waterpark, located on the banks of the Oklahoma River, opens April 1. The $400 million project, largely funded by the Chickasaw Nation, includes an 11-story hotel, a 10-acre outdoor lagoon, dozens of restaurants and bars and an indoor water park. The resort estimates that the getaway will create approximately 800 direct and indirect jobs once it becomes operational.

Andretti Indoor karting and games

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games plans to open in spring 2025 at The Half, NE 83 and Broadway Extension. The 100,000-square-foot electric karting establishment includes an indoor race track, virtual experiences, an arcade, restaurants and a full-service bar. It already has several locations across the country across the South, including several locations in neighboring Texas. The $35 million project will create about 300 jobs.

Lonestar electricity supply

Houston-based Lonestar Electric Supply will expand its operations in the state and open its first distribution center in Oklahoma at 5601 SW 13 in February. The maintenance company provides electrical contractors for commercial projects. The factory will employ approximately twenty workers.

RH (Restoration Hardware) at OAK

RH, also known as Restoration Hardware, will open in mid-2025 at 2110 Northwest Expressway, right next to the OAK project. The company will sell home furnishings, from furniture to lighting and decorations. The 37,845-square-foot building will include three floors of retail and a coffee shop. The estimated cost of the project is $15 million.

Smooth city action park

In what was once a Conn’s Home Plus, Slick City Action Park plans to open a slide park in late spring or early summer at 1615 Penn Park Blvd. The 44,950-square-foot entertainment center offers several water slides, an air court, a junior jungle gym and a food stand with concessions.
