The College Football Hall of Fame announced the members of the Class of 2025 on Wednesday, ushering in a new line of college football legends. This year’s class consists of 18 players and four coaches, with some notable names.

The class is led by two championship coaches, Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. Saban, who finished his career at Alabama in 2023, is a seven-time national champion who earned six of those rings with the Crimson Tide, earning the honor just a year after he retired. (Saban learned he had been elected to the Hall of Fame during an appearance on “College GameDay” on Friday.) Meyer led his teams to a national championship three times, twice with Florida and once with Ohio State; he retired from coaching college football in 2018.

Notable names from the player class include former Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Vick, a first-team All-American who became a four-time Pro Bowler in the NFL, and Texas Southern defensive end Michael Strahan who later had a legendary stint with the New York Giants and a career in broadcasting.

The final list was chosen from a vote of 77 players and nine coaches from the FBS division, and 101 players and 34 coaches from other divisions. The Class of 2025 will be officially inducted during a ceremony on December 9 in Las Vegas; the honorees will also be recognized at ceremonies at their colleges throughout the fall.
