FAYETTEVILLE — The No. 8 Arkansas Razorbacks go for the sweep against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Baum-Walker Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Left-hander Hunter Hollan starts on the mound for the Diamond Hogs, who boast a 2-0 record and a 2.30 ERA in 15.2 innings over three starts this season.
The Bulldogs will start right wing Reed Smith, who has a 6.75 ERA in 9 1/3 innings over three starts.

After starting the game with a strikeout, Hollan took advantage of a lineout and an error running on base from Jonathan Hogart, who was on third by the time the ball came first to get him out .

Jared Wegner walked with one out, but three flyouts enabled Reed Smith to get out of the inning.
Top 2
Hollan hit three batters and gave up three runs, only one of which was earned, in the top of the second. The Arkansas starter threw 29 pitches in the frame and totaled 42 by the time he got three outs.

Jace Bohrofen hit a leadoff double off the right wall and an error at shortstop on a grounder by Peyton Holt scored Bohrofen to put Arkansas on the board after second.

Hollan worked his first real 1-2-3 inning of the afternoon.

Tavian Joseberger led off the inning with a double and he scored on a Jared Wegner 372-foot two-run homer that tied the score. Three batters later, Kendall Diggs fired another two-run shot to right to give the Razorbacks the lead.
The Bulldogs turned to right-hander Landon Tomkins, who walked all five batters he faced, enabling two runs to be scored.
Louisiana Tech brought in left fielder Ryan Harland and Slavens lined out with two RBIs to center on Harland’s first pitch. A swipe from Bohrofen to the left finally helped Harland get his team out of the frame.
