Officers are searching for the man who tried to kidnap a 13-year-old Florida girl from the school bus stop

A South Florida girl is safe at home after officers say a man tried to kidnap her.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office released security camera footage of the attempted kidnapping.

Officers said a man came running after her after she was dropped off at her school bus stop.

Investigators said the man grabbed the 13-year-old girl and tried to drag her away.

Fortunately, the girl resisted and was able to escape.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 911.
