An Israeli attack in the central part of the Gaza Strip resulted in numerous fatalities on Thursday, according to Palestinian reports.
At least 25 Palestinians have lost their lives in the Nuseirat refugee district, Gaza Strip medical sources say. According to these sources, the Israeli army has attacked residential buildings there.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA simultaneously reported dozens of injuries in Nuseirat. According to the report, the Israeli air force struck a building and adjacent houses several times. Images on social media show doctors later carrying a number of motionless and bleeding people to a hospital.
The details could not initially be independently verified. The Israeli military stated that it was investigating the report after investigation.
WAFA reported a total of 70 fatalities during the day as a result of Israeli attacks on various locations in the Gaza Strip.
