PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia police officer fired one shot Monday afternoon in North Philly after the person pulled a gun, police said. It is unclear whether the shot struck the suspect, authorities said.

The incident happened near the 1000 block of West Dakota Street, just north of Temple University, around 3:30 p.m.
