Philadelphia Zoo Expands Bear Country; $20 million project opening in 2026

The Philadelphia Zoo has announced a $20 million expansion, which you’ll “bearly” believe. The zoo plans to break ground on an expanded Bear Country exhibit in 2025. Improvements include a bear exploration trail that can pass through all habitats, new glass lookouts and water features. The plan is to have everything open by 2026.
