Sep. 10 – The annual American Tribute Flag Field event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Gardens Park. “It is our honor to pay tribute to the victims of September 11, 2001 and to honor our first responders,” said Mike Marshall, West Texas Chairman for Prosperity Bank, in a press release. “We are grateful to the city of Odessa for their partnership in this event and to the many volunteers who help us place the flags.” The event is sponsored by Prosperity Bank and the city of Odessa to commemorate the lives lost on 9/11.
