A possible driver of a stolen car led police on a chase through Simi Valley and Los Angeles Friday evening.
Simi Valley police called for assistance from the California Highway Patrol. Initially, police believed the suspect was a DUI driver, but later learned the vehicle had been stolen out of San Diego.
Police tracked the suspect by helicopter as the vehicle drove through Hollywood.
The suspect dumped the car near Melrose Avenue and Berendo Street.
