Police arrested a man on Thursday on suspicion of killing 24-year-old Jacob Sierra.
On Thursday evening, Phoenix police announced that 40-year-old Thomas Draper had been arrested in connection with the early morning shooting death of Sierra at an apartment complex near 43rd Street and McDowell Road on Monday.
At 1:30 a.m. Monday, police responded to an “unknown disturbance” at the apartment where they found Sierra with a gunshot wound. He later died at a hospital, Phoenix police said.
After a four-day investigation, Phoenix police arrested Draper and booked him into the Maricopa County Jail, where he was charged with second-degree murder.
