Police say two people are dead after a shooting early Sunday morning in Salisbury.
Officials with the Salisbury Police Department say they were called to an address on 3rd Street around 8:40 a.m. about a reported shooting.
Officers found two victims who were pronounced dead at the scene from visible gunshot wounds.
The two victims have been identified as Shamarion Hooker, 20, and Skylar Mackey, 21.
Police say the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear, but they have determined that a male individual fled the area after the shooting occurred.
This person has been located and is being questioned by detectives.
Officials say an investigation is underway and they will provide updates as they get them.
