Virginia State Police have issued an Amber Alert for three children in Virginia Beach after police say a suspect stabbed their mother.
According to police, Zayir Plummer, 5, Zayin Plummer, 7, and Zariyah Plummer, 16 months, were taken by Dana Demetrius Plummer around 9 p.m. Wednesday. Zayir Plummer has black hair and brown eyes and is 4 feet, 11 inches tall. He was last seen wearing gray pants and a black jacket. Zayin is the same height as Zayir and was last seen wearing rust-colored pants and a light blue shirt. Zariyah has black hair and brown eyes. She is 2 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 40 pounds. She was last seen wearing pink tights and a Trolls dress. All of the children are black.
Plummer, a black male, has brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. Police have not released a description of his clothing. The last scene was on Jay Aren Court, near Virginia Wesleyan University.
Police say they may be in a black 2024 Honda Passport SUV with temporary license plates 37550R. It’s unclear what direction they’re traveling. The children are considered extremely dangerous.
