An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 has struck near Malibu, the U.S. Geological Survey reported Sunday.
According to the USGS, the earthquake was reported at 7:12 a.m. and its epicenter was about 13 miles (21 km) southeast of Malibu.
According to user comments, the storm was felt in Malibu, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Avalon, Sierra Madre, Canyon Country and Thousand Oaks.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
