NEWARK, NJ — Preparations are underway for the 40th MTV Video Music Awards.
Rehearsals and place cards were distributed over the weekend at the Prudential Center in Newark.
Nicki Minaj is hosting for the second year in a row and Taylor Swift leads the nominations with eight.
The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday.
