Report: Rudy Gobert, Timberwolves reach $110 million extension on NBA opening day

Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $110 million, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports.

News of the deal broke just minutes before the Timberwolves opened their season against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. The deal secures Gobert’s services in Minnesota during the prime of his career as he enters his third season with the Timberwolves.
