Russia launched a Kalibr missile into the Sea of Japan and hit a dummy target nearly 650 miles away, the country’s defense ministry said on Friday (March 3).
The missile is the same kind that Vladimir Putin’s forces launched from ships and submarines in the Black Sea during their invasion of Ukraine, previously striking multiple targets, including power plants.
Footage released by the Defense Ministry shows the missile emerging from under the sea and hitting a target in Russia’s Khabarovsk region.
