The average home in Sheboygan County was on the market for $339,900 in November, up 1.5% from the previous month’s $334,975, an analysis of Realtor.com data shows.

Compared to November 2023, the average list price of a home increased 4.2% from $326,225.

The average Sheboygan County home was 1,643 square feet, listed at $192 per square foot. The price per square meter of homes for sale has increased by 8.1% compared to November 2023.

Listings in Sheboygan County developed quickly, with an average of 42 days listed, compared to November’s national average of 62 days on market. In the previous month, homes spent an average of 37 days on the market. Approximately 76 new homes came onto the market in November, an increase of 18.8% compared to the 64 new homes in November 2023.

Realtor.com’s average home prices may exclude many or even most of the homes on the market. Price and volume represent single-family homes, condominiums, or townhomes only. They include existing homes but exclude most new-build homes and pending and conditional sales.

In Wisconsin, median home prices were $369,900, down slightly from October. The average Wisconsin home for sale was 1,776 square feet, priced at $202 per square foot.

In the United States, the average home price was $416,880, down slightly from the previous month. The average American home for sale was listed at 1,821 square feet, priced at $224 per square foot.

The average list price for homes used in this report represents the midpoint of all homes or units listed during the given period. Experts say the median provides a more accurate picture of what’s happening in a market than the average list price, which would mean taking the sum of all list prices and then dividing it by the number of homes sold. The average may be distorted by a particularly low or high price.
