Authorities in Floyd County are searching for a missing elderly woman who was last seen in Lockney.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Silver Alert was issued around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night for Maria Perez, 79, who was last seen around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of Shurbet Street.
Perez is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red shirt and black pants, DPS said.
According to DPS, Perez may be driving a black 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander with Texas license plate THV2052.
Anyone who sees Perez or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office at 806-983-4901.
