Six sisters, adopted into different families, are looking for their 15-year-old brother Giovanni.
“He’s the missing piece,” Catrina Palmer, 25, tells TODAY.com.
Recently, Palmer and her siblings made a TikTok video hoping it would lead them to Giovanni. In the clip, the sisters talk about how he was adopted by the doctors who delivered him at Tampa General Hospital on February 14, 2009.
The TikTok went viral with almost 50 million views, and now internet sleuths are determined to track down Giovanni.
“We have so many people helping us, which is pretty cool,” Palmer said.
Palmer said her biological parents struggled with addiction. Palmer and her sister Gigi, 22, were adopted after multiple foster placements and grew up in Florida. Years later, they learned about the existence of sisters Alexia, 20, Anna, 19, Monica, 18, and Bella, 13.

In 2019, after connecting on social media, the girls met for the first time.
“We were all raised very differently, but personality-wise we are so similar. We even have the same manners,” says Palmer. “After we knew each other for a few minutes, we snuggled together and talked about everything. It just immediately felt like home.”
According to Palmer, she and her sisters have a relationship with their biological parents, who are now sober and “staying out of trouble.”
“They have a house and two dogs,” Palmer says proudly.

Although the sisters are spread across the country – Florida, New York and West Virginia – they communicate constantly over a group text.
“If someone is having a rough day, we’re all on FaceTime trying to cheer her up,” Palmer says. “We are making up for lost time.”
Palmer says they’ve gotten a few tips on Giovanni’s whereabouts, and one of them seems promising. She tries not to set her expectations too high.
“Once we find Giovanni, we will be complete,” she says. “I know he’s there, and we can’t wait to meet him.”
