Steph Curry practices unusual trick shots, but in his wildest dreams he couldn’t possibly have imagined the half-court shot he nearly took in Saturday night’s Warriors game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
At the end of the first quarter on FedExForum, Curry hoisted a shot to beat the buzzer and it sailed over everything, hitting the space between the top of the board and the bottom of the shot clock.
But the ball bounced back down and danced on the edge before falling out.
Because of where the ball landed above the backboard, the shot probably wouldn’t have counted even if it had gone in, but it was still pretty wild to watch.

Knowing Curry, he could add this trick shot to his pregame routine and try to make it at some point, just for fun.
