As the evening progresses, a warm front moves into the area, causing some thunderstorms. The greatest risk for severe weather will be in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania, although some remaining strong storms could push into Massachusetts overnight.

The worrying storms will continue between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, leaving some residual showers throughout Sunday.
The biggest consequences of storms are heavy rain, strong winds and some hail. While there’s a very slim chance of Southern New England seeing a tornado, most of the ingredients are well west of Boston.

Sunday is not a “wash out” day. Don’t be afraid to make outdoor plans, but also make a plan B in case a shower or storm pops up in the area.
