A driver is facing charges after officers say he was speeding on Georgia 400.

It happened early Friday morning. Forsyth County deputies said a driver was going 90 mph on GA 400.
The driver, whose age and identity were not released, was arrested for driving under the influence.
“There are no drunk driving warnings,” the sheriff’s office said.

According to the Georgia Department of Driver Services, maximum travel speeds in Georgia are determined based on the following general rules unless otherwise noted. The speed limit on a rural highway is 110 km/h and 100 km/h on an urban highway or a multi-lane highway.
Forsyth County officials are reminding drivers to slow down to arrive at your destination safely.
“Don’t play Russian roulette with your life and the lives of everyone else on the road,” the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said.
