SUV pulls into Wilmington’s house

WILMINGTON — An SUV slammed into a Wilmington home late Thursday night, causing significant damage.

Officers arrived at the Woburn Street home at around 9:50 p.m. and found an SUV leaning against the side of the house.

The vehicle crossed the courtyards of two other homes, leaving long tire tracks in the snow leading up to where it caused the collision.

The driver drove across the front yard of the house and a neighboring house before crashing into the residence.

The driver received medical attention at the scene and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result of the crash, the building inspector declared the home uninhabitable.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
