In a press conference, Admiral Daniel Hagari, IDF spokesman, said: “It is with a heavy heart that I share the news that the Israeli Defense Forces and ISA forces last night rescued the bodies of our hostages: Shani Louk, Amit Buskila. and Yitzchak Gleren-ter.”

“We were told that bodies of soldiers from a commando team had been found, and the condition of the body was very good. It was in a relatively deep place in a deep tunnel and was very cold,” he told The Daily Mail.

According to Hagari’s statement, the three bodies were turned over to medical professionals for forensic examination and identification. After the procedure was completed, the IDF informed their families.

“We will leave no stone unturned,” Hagari said. “We will do everything in our power to find our hostages and bring them home. We will not rest until we do that.”
