The Orange County Teachers’ Association is asking members to contact them if they were affected by the air conditioning outage at Ocoee Middle School on Monday.
The teachers union posted on Facebook that there are contractual provisions that guarantee safe and healthy working conditions.
Students and staff at Ocoee Middle School are moved to the air-conditioned area on Tuesday.

According to officials, three students were taken to hospital for treatment after the air conditioning problems on Monday.
They are all expected to be okay.

The Ocoee Fire Department reported the power outage occurred around 7 a.m.
According to Orange County Public Schools, maintenance crews managed to get one of the cooling machines working again.

“Some areas of campus are becoming cooler. Students are being moved to those areas of campus and additional water breaks are being provided,” an OCPS spokesperson said.
