Now Isaacman, the man who completed the world’s first commercial spacewalk and raised millions for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital along the way, has been nominated as the next NASA administrator.

Space UpClose founder and retired chemist Dr. Ken Kremer told us: “Jared Isaacman comes from the commercial space industry, which has really blossomed in recent years, and he is a leader in it. So I think he’s an absolutely fantastic choice to lead NASA. It’s unorthodox, but that’s what NASA needs: someone who thinks out of the box.”

In a recent post, Isaacman said: “With President Trump’s support, I can promise you this: We will never again lose our ability to travel to the stars or settle for second place. “
