Details: The head of EU diplomacy said one of the points of the ministerial meeting was future security commitments to Ukraine amid Russia’s war of aggression against it.

Earlier, the Italian news agency ANSA quoted three different sources indicating that the European Union was preparing to hold a meeting of foreign ministers in Kiev. The purpose of the meeting, the agency’s sources say, is to follow the path of “political integration” and show the EU’s support at a critical stage of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
-
Brussels is also trying to take stock of some key issues, such as increased military aid and further strengthening of sanctions, especially regarding Russia’s circumvention in the high-tech sector.
-
In February this year, the first ever joint external meeting of European Commissioners and the Ukrainian government took place in Kiev, on the sidelines of the EU-Ukraine Summit.
