After four years of dating, The Valley stars Jasmine Goode And Melissa Marie are officially engaged.
During their European vacation there was not one proposal, but two! It was so much fun that they did it twice.
“It was really crazy because we were both thinking about getting engaged,” Jasmine said. “[We’ve been] I’ve been looking at rings for a while. We were just trying to find the right time and place to do it. [But] Before I could even propose to her, she was surprised me … I was blown away.”

While the former Bachelor contestant had plans to propose in Italy, her friend Melissa beat her to it with a proposal of her own.
“We wanted it to be intimate and memorable,” Melissa told Us Weekly. “Once [we booked our tickets for] Mallorca, I thought, ‘Oh, I guess [Jasmine] could take this opportunity to make a proposal. But I wanted to make her a special offer, because she deserves it. It wasn’t just about what I wanted.”
Melissa specifically had Lake Como in mind as a location. “I was like, ‘Okay, this couldn’t be more perfect because she absolutely loves being here,’” she continued. “We went to this place called Villa Monastero. It is one of the most beautiful villas and gardens around Lake Como… I even found this place that is infamous for the best views and sunsets.” Jasmine isn’t the only member of Bachelor Nation to get engaged in Lake Como.
Jasmine had no idea about the surprise her now fiancé had planned for her. “I thought we were just going to take a photo or a TikTok,” she said. “But then she got down on one knee. The next day I kept thinking, “I hope she doesn’t think I don’t have a ring for her.” But my plan still had to go down.”

Jasmine pretended she “didn’t have a ring” for Melissa and waited a few days before popping the question. And now that they’re engaged, the couple is looking forward to their shared future.
“Honestly, we both want to start a family really soon,” Jasmine explained. “That is our main goal. We both want to be mothers and for us we want to make sure we are married first. That’s something that means a lot to our family… It felt good.”
“We’ve just been so busy with the show and with life,” Melissa added. “[Now we] finally had time to slow down and find our rings, so it all made sense.
After some of their friends from The Valley cast helped with the planning and ring shopping, there’s a chance the wedding could be featured on the show. Reality TV loves a wedding!
And Jasmine totally agrees with that idea. “It’s something I would do,” she confirmed. “You sign up to do the show, so you open up your life to be put on display.”
