In November 2009, conservative South Korean daily Chosun Ilbo reported that Kim Jong Il’s armored train contained approximately 90 carriages. The green vehicle with a yellow stripe also had meeting rooms, audience rooms and bedrooms, with satellite telephones and televisions for briefings.
