During the traffic check, officers were given permission to search the vehicle.

The NPD’s newest K9, Hamer, also issued a warning on the vehicle White was driving, police said.

During the narcotics investigation, police said officers found 25.8 pounds of cocaine in an aftermarket storage compartment in the vehicle.

White was booked in Nacogdoches County Jail on felony #1 charges of manufacturing/supplying a controlled substance.
