President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that all federal employees will receive a buy-out to resign if they do not want to return to personal work.
In an e -mail memo, the American Personnel Management office told employees that the offer would give federal employees for eight months wage and benefits if they resign by 6 February.
“If you choose not to continue in your current role in the federal workforce, we thank you for your service to your country and you will get a worthy, honest departure from the federal deferred dismissal program,” said the memo.

Buyout from the federal employees: who applies to?
The buy -out of the federal employees does not apply to all government employees. The following groups are not included in the buyout offer:

Positions with regard to enforcement of immigration and national security
