President Trump is demanding that millions of federal workers return to the office.
In an order issued Monday, the White House directed all U.S. government departments and agencies in the executive branch to end remote work arrangements and require employees to return to work full-time. Department heads may exempt some employees from the requirement.
The executive order was one of them blizzard of actions announced by Mr Trump at the day of his inaugurationincluding guidance on the economy, immigration and climate change.
