CHICAGO (CBS) — Two drivers were injured in a wrong-way crash on the Eisenhower Expressway Thursday morning.
Illinois State Police said that shortly before 6 a.m., a vehicle was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 290 near Wood Dale Road and struck another vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The two left lanes of eastbound I-290 were closed for about an hour after the crash, but reopened at 7 a.m.
