A portion of Interstate 880 in Oakland was closed Monday evening due to a vehicle fire, the California Highway Patrol said.
The vehicle fire occurred north of 23rd Avenue southbound on I-880, around 5:47 p.m., and closed two right lanes.
All lanes were reopened just before 6:30 p.m
