One person is in serious but stable condition after an early morning shooting in downtown Seattle, Seattle police said.
On August 4, at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers heard multiple shots fired near 100 South Washington Street.
Witnesses quickly called 911 and told police they had seen vehicles driving away.
Officers stopped one of the suspect vehicles and found two firearms inside.
The vehicle was seized for a search warrant and the occupants were identified and released.
Meanwhile, a victim of a private vehicle shooting was dropped off at Harborview Medical Center.
The victim suffered two gunshot wounds.
Detectives found a firearm in the vehicle the victim was being transported in and interviewed the driver and witnesses.
At the scene, police collected more than 20 bullets, casings and other evidence.
The Gun Violence Reduction Unit has taken over the investigation to determine the events leading up to the shooting.
