MINNEAPOLIS– The Minnesota Vikings kick off the regular season at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday at noon.
Minnesota’s offensive attack is expected to build on last year’s success, with much excitement surrounding 2023 first-round pick Jordan Addison. running attack has also been redesigned with Alexander Mattison taking the reins.
The defense is over almost completely renovated, with only five starters returning this season. So Week 1 will provide the first glimpse of what’s to come for new defensive coordinator Brian Flores’ aggressive scheme.
Minnesota is favored in this matchup, but Tampa Bay’s defense is formidable, so it should make for a close match.
