Want to work in a place with a special culture? Nominate a Vermont workplace for this award

Not everyone is lucky enough to work in a great workplace. If you do, it’s worth recognition. Be rewarded as a top place to work in Vermont.

For the second year, the Burlington Free Press will celebrate the region’s outstanding workplace culture. Any organization with 35 or more employees in the state is eligible to compete for a Top Workplaces award. Outstanding companies will be honored in the autumn of 2025.

It all starts with a nomination. The deadline for nominations is February 28. Anyone can nominate any organization, whether it is public, private, non-profit, a school or even a government agency. To nominate an employer or for more information about the awards, visit burlingtonfreepress.com/nominate or call 802-264-5205.

Energage, the Pennsylvania-based research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media outlets in 65 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations last year.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a hallmark of excellence that sets companies apart in a recognizable way,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “Top Workplaces embody the highest standards, and this award, rooted in authentic employee feedback, should be a point of immense pride.”

For the 2024 awards, Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington in Essex Junction and Cathedral Square in South Burlington were honored as Vermont Top Workplaces.
