CHICAGO (CBS) — It will be a nice start to the week in Chicago before the chance of severe storms Tuesday through Wednesday before a seasonally cool end to the week.

Dry and sunny weather on Monday with highs in the mid 70s. Clouds will increase Monday evening, with lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

The storms look set to continue for most of the day on Tuesday. Tomorrow’s severe weather window will develop after sunset until midnight, when the risk of large hail and damaging winds will be greatest. There is also a chance of isolated tornadoes.

The storm threat will continue until early Wednesday, especially during the morning commute. Some of these storms can be strong to severe.
