When two NFL teams practice together during the hottest days of August, chances are that tempers will flare at some point.
Monday’s practice between the Giants and Detroit Lions was no exception.
Early in Monday’s practice session, the first of two between the teams leading up to Thursday’s season opener at MetLife Stadium, the Giants’ defense took a beating from the Lions’ offense.

About 25 minutes later, another brawl broke out while the Giants offense was on the field.
According to SNY NFL Insider Connor Hughes, this fight broke out one play after Daniel Jones the ball was knocked out of his hands (QBs are not allowed to be touched during practice).
Jones was in the thick of the action until a Giants staff member ejected him.
