Early voting is underway in Florida for the 2024 general election. Election Day is November 5, just over a week away.
Registered voters can go to any designated early voting location and cast their ballot until Sunday, November 3. Many have also mailed in or returned their ballots.
More than half a million people have already cast ballots in Miami-Dade. Although it’s impossible to say exactly How people voted until after the polls closed on Election Day. Each province’s Ministry of Elections reports how many registered voters have already voted and which parties they are registered with.

Party membership in Florida
As of October, Republicans had a nearly seven percentage point lead over registered Democrats in Florida in voter registration numbers.
That number has increased rapidly in recent years. By August 2022, the advantage was less than one percentage point. These figures include both active and inactive voters, who are still eligible to vote.
